Great Place, We Loved It!
not real sure if the last reviewer stayed at the same place, we found this resort to be absolutely outstanding! We stayed for NASCAR weekend in April and had a blast! We had breakfast at the AZ kitchen each day and it was excellent. Pool was great and even has a water slide, didn't get a chance to golf but definitely plan on returning and golfing. This place is close to the track so if want a resort type stay for nascar book here

stayed along long long time ago..with motorola customers
after staying one week for a training meeting and then periodically with customers i loved loved the wigwam. now most of us from world marketing are retired. we have time to visit, go for dinner etc. it is my favorite place. when my husband has a meeting there..its the only time i don't miss the dinners just to walk thru the hotel. that said..we dont' go by ourselves or even friends because of the drive home. we live in mesa. even when we lived in scottsdale. drinking and driving doesn't go. that said i read your article this morning in the az republic. what if you had a van and the person had to purchase 2 drinks..and there was no charge. i dont' drink. but would be willing to pay for 2 drinks. drinks have alot of profit in them. might pay for the ride for you, and make it available to get out there for us....just a thought. judith Stih p.s ( not for publication) my husband is CEO of East Valley Board of Realtors...and he is constantly in touch with 14k of his people not to mention other business people..they always ask him ' where do you go with your wife for a night out'. which we rarely get since my 95 year old mom is here under hospice. but i would love to go to the wigwam..for whatever reason..i have always just loved driving onto the grounds...

What a Shocking Surprise
I booked this place on Hotwire at the last minute for $95 plus tax and drove in late in the evening after a very long drive. This is a beatiful and clean resort with magnificent rooms that evoke yesteryear while still having modern amenities. It's a little out of the way in Litchfield (near Goodyear), but, it's away from the hustle and bustle. Highly recommended
