Arizona Cardinals NFL Football Stadium

The Cardinals, founded in 1898, are among the oldest professional football teams in the United States. Visitors travel from all over the world to come and watch the team play in Arizona.

Home Games: Since 2006, the Cardinals have been playing their home games in Glendale, Arizona at the State Farm Stadium. However, their training facility is in Tempe. The Phoenix Stadium is the first stadium that they didn't have to share with another tenant. In 1989 they played at Comiskey Park, and then moved to the Busch Stadium in 1960.

Later they moved to Sun Devil stadium. In the 90s, they began seeking a new stadium, and after several years, the Arizona Tourism and States Authority voted for the construction of a new stadium to be built in Glendale, Arizona. The stadium was built on 28 acres at a cost of $455 million. It features a retractable roof and retractable siding.

Also, the stadium has retractable panels that allow air conditioning during the hot months. If you haven't visited the stadium yet, you should book a ticket for the next game. The stadium is a little heaven, with a modern look and seating capacity of 63,400, expandable to 72,800. Other than being home to the Arizona Cardinals, the stadium also hosts NCAA Final Four Championships, and the Tostitos Fiesta Bowl.
