The winter season in The Valley of the Sun is a truly majestic time of year – it's a lot like springtime in many other states across the US, making it the perfect holiday getaway. From the mid-70s in November to the mid-60s in December, Phoenix makes for a great way to take a break from the snow and cold to enjoy the holidays. Here at The Wigwam we have a lot going on during these months.
Our Annual Tree Lighting event will be on Friday, November 29th this year on The Wigwam Front Lawn from 5:30 to 8pm. Kick off the Holiday Season with free family fun and don't miss Santa's arrival at 6pm. There will be a Kids Zone Play Area, holiday crafts, musical performances and much more.
One of our family favorite holiday happenings is Breakfast with Santa on Saturdays and select Sundays throughout December. Check the Holiday Activities page for dates and times to enjoy this experience with the kids. Reservations are required. Another must attend event is our Holiday Nights in Lights Experience. This unforgettable evening event occurs Fridays in December – the 6th, 13th & 20th. Join us for an evening of festive train rides, s'mores around the fire and photos with Santa himself – sweet treats will be available for purchase.
For all guests staying with us Thursdays, Fridays and Saturdays in December, we'll be offering our Elf Stocking Deliveries again this year! Delivered between 5 and 8pm, the holiday stocking includes a stuffed animal and a sweet treat, as well as a letter from Santa and supplies to write back! Call 866.976.6894 to schedule your delivery. Reservations must be made 48 hours in advance, so don't delay.
We have two options for Christmas Day Dining this year on Wednesday, December 25. Our Lunch Buffet will take place from 12 to 4pm in The Wigwam Ballroom. And, finally, to bring an end to the year we'll be having three New Year's Eve Dining events on Tuesday, December 31st. At Litchfield's from 5 to 10pm we'll be having a 4-Course Prix Fixe dinner, which includes a glass of sparkling wine. Red's Bar & Grill will be the perfect spot for families with fun family games on the patio and a live band – watch the NYC ball drop on the TVs at 10pm. The Wigwam Bar will also have full service from 7pm to 12am, with live music provided by Two Lane Entertainment. Come finish off another wonderful year with us in style!
