4 Reasons to Stay at The Wigwam Arizona for the 4th of July

The 4th of July is a nationwide celebration and every corner of the country has festivities in place to pay tribute to the forefathers of the nation who dedicated their lives to securing independence for Americans. Apart from tributes, of course, different forms of fun are also in the line-up.

If you're considering heading to Arizona, specifically Litchfield Park (which is about 30 minutes from Phoenix, the state's capital) for Independence Day, The Wigwam Arizona should be your choice of accommodation. This beautiful hotel resort has so much to offer holidaymakers for this summer and for the 4th of July, it's the best place to come from if you wish to take part in the community's events or simply have some much-needed personal time.

Here are the four reasons why you should stay at this hotel for your Independence Day getaway.

#1, If you want to be "part" of the community, you can join the annual "Splash Bash."

If you don't want to confine the family to the hotel's premises the whole day, Litchfield Park will be hosting the "Splash Bash." This community event is much anticipated by locals and tourists. It's a wholesome gathering for everybody who wants to cool off. The cost for the event is only $2 per person (children under 3 years of age get in for free though). You can pack a picnic if you want but there'll be different concessionaires present that will provide food and beverages.

Here's the schedule of events for the "Splash Bash":

10 a.m.: Opening
11 a.m.: Cannonball Contest
12 p.m.: Whirlpool in the Baby Pool
1 p.m.:  National Anthem & Coin Toss
2 p.m.:  Belly Flop Contest
3 p.m.:  Trivia
4 p.m.:  Toy Toss in the Baby Pool
5 p.m.:  Closing

#2, You can also go to Goodyear Ballpark's "Star Spangled 4th."

The Goodyear Ballpark is just about eight kilometers from The Wigwam and it too has something in store for everyone looking for a good time on Independence Day. The "Star Spangled 4th" has the following activities lined up:

  • Inflatable water slides and bounce houses
  • Live music by the Groove Merchants
  • Nathan's hotdog eating contest
  • Uptown Alley Battle Ball Challenge
  • Cornhole
  • Fireworks spectacular

#3, The Wigwam Arizona is hosting the Fourth of July – Red, White and Boom!

This will be held at the Patriot Course of the Wigwam Golf Course from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. The hotel will provide live DJ entertainment, a Kids' Zone with bounce houses & water slides, and a fantastic firework show. No entrance fee and it's only $10 for unlimited rides at the Kids' Zone. This event is perfect if you want to avoid the madness outside the hotel's premises.

#4, If you want a relaxing 4th of July, you can get a spa package for "freedom from stress."

Independence Day is one of the few non-working holidays that you can use for personal relaxation. The Red Door Salon and Spa is the perfect retreat for your tired body and soul. You can get the soothing Red Door Signature Massage. Relax by the spa lap pool after a long day of taking part in the community's 4th of July events, or to avoid the crazy 4th of July events in the community. Get a mani-pedi, and other indulgent treatments to rejuvenate your body for your return to work.

The best thing about staying at The Wigwam Arizona is you can create the experience of your choice, and for Independence Day, you certainly can celebrate it according to your personal brand of fun. Give us a call today to book your stay: 866.976.6894
