Old school charm still plays in 2021
When you seek to be treated like you matter, this is the gem in the desert that you need to visit.I will admit that I was apprehensive when my wife first told me about the Wigwam, and while the website was updated and had plenty of pictures I was sure that there had to be something wrong with this place, and boy was I mistaken, big time. From the inception of our arrival, we were greeted with the kid of reception that I've only had at the Four Season's, top to bottom and everyone in between was polite, kind, welcoming, and hospitable. Literally at every turn, and every stop we made. My room was very clean and very inviting, and while the building we were in did show its age, it only added to the old school charm that made this location what it was that put it on the map in the first place. My wife and I are already discussing a visit again next year

Five days of fun with the Western Regional Golf Assoc.
First class amenities, personal care, and beautiful surroundings. You can park your car in the lot and forget about it as they do all the rest. When you call they pick you up in their golf cart and drive you anywhere within the 450 acres that you want to go. Three pools are pristine and the large one is Disneyland for the kids. Adults love the service with ice water and the "bar and grill" as you sunbathe. I wish we did not live so far away

We stayed here for 2 nights for a birthday trip in a Traditional Adobe Suite. We spoke to the management prior to ensure we were in a quiet area of the resort with a ground-floor suite & no connecting doors & while there was some communication issues, we were pleased our room request was honored at this price point (almost 400 a night). The resort is large & historic, there is a lot of history about it in the main buildings worth looking at for by-gone times. While we thought the room layout's were perfect for C-19 isolation - we think the furnishings were rather business standard for the $ - basically was sort of like an Embassy Suites level with a patio on the front & back... We appreciate it is almost 100 years old, but no reason not to provide what you are paying for... It was quiet & bed was good. Bath was a bit funky, and parking sometimes hard, but free. Good sized living room - coffee service provided could be better. Would improve "self-check-in" - it is pretty much NOT workable it if you still have to stand in line at front desk for keys. What is the point of that? We enjoyed strolling the grounds & wandering around all the things on offer, such as gold, tennis & pools. Finally, I personally have to say that in 2021, the sheer amount of "cultural appropriation"..

Great place to come and relax and getaway. Tucked away yet centrally located to everything you would need. The staff treat you like royalty. The rooms are covid clean. The pools are nice and refreshing and extremely big. The main pool has 2 huge slides for both kids and adults. There is shade and misters everywhere. The layout is perfect. Whether you come with your family, a group of adults, couples, etc there is something for everyone. From elegance to causal. There were many events going on when we were there for kids and adults. Also lawn games near the pool. There are 3 golf courses which are beautiful. They'll even come right to your room snd take you over if you don't want to walk. I loved the ease of texting the staff for anything we needed. They responded promptly and took care of everything we needed. Our family will definitely return. This resort is fantastic
