Let down by the details
This hotel has so much heart and I feel bad criticizing because I want them to be successful. But things are headed in the wrong direction. The beds are terrible, old, saggy, unsupportive and creaky. We stayed in 2 different rooms and the beds were similar. The rooms and furniture are tired, need a refresh. It seems they are having trouble keeping up with maintenance and cleaning of the resort. Lots of chipped paint on buildings, tiles missing from the pools, rotted out bridge going over the Tower pool. There was bird crap on all the outdoor furniture, stained cushions. Everything felt dirty. On the positive side we ate at Litchfields and the food and ambiance was amazing. Staff was very kind, down to earth and aimed to please. The design of the resort and landscape was beautiful, with lots of mature trees and plantings. The main hotel building is really something to see. Truly a piece of history and a treasure. I only wish the rest of the resort was maintained with the same care

Coming back! Again and again!
One of our favorite places to go! Comfortable, beautiful, relaxing, plenty of activities, great food, friendly staff, wonderful accommodations. The Wigwam is steeped in history and is just a timeless classic, family friendly resort. We selected the Wigwam as the site for our daughter’s wedding. All out of family and guests flew or drove in from Colorado to attend. The Wigwam provided a stunning setting for all the wedding events. The food was superb! Guests loved the various amenities and the relaxing atmosphere. The staff couldn’t have been more helpful. It was such a fun, magical, special event and the Wigwam made it uniquely perfect

This resort/hotel was outstanding. We heard about it from friends and we were glad we chose it. The grounds are tranquil, the staff were kind and considerate, and the room was large and relaxing. If you are looking for somewhere to unwind in the Phoenix area but still be able to walk around the neighborhood this is a great choic

We came to Arizona for my husbands work that our kids, my Mom and I tagged along for a family vacation, and this was the place that was reserved for the work trip. Great place for work, pleasure, couples, families, and/or friends. They had so many events going on. Great pool, very friendly and personable staff! I had never been to Arizona before, and will definitely be back and staying at the Wigwam! Highly recommended
